First FC job and a reasonably good OP

We had a call for support as one of our own was being camped by war targets, a Maelstrom and Hurricane is a little overkill for a lone harbinger, so we got a gang together and strolled down only to see them flee, so we decided to have some fun with their POS,

At the time our fleet consisted of:

4 Ravens,
2 Armageddons
2 Abaddons
1 Megathron
1 Tempest
1 Redeemer
1 Rokh
1 Guardian
and a hauler bringing in cap booster and ammo.

Now this op went well, despite the occasional frantic cry for reps and cap/shield transfer which was expected because for many of the pilots, including myself it was our first POS seige. We reconned the warp disruption towers and hit them first, until some war targets manned the guns so we gave the order to move out, and just before warp out one of the remaining 2 warp towers snagged a raven, and we all warped back in but by that time her shields were gone and her armor was taking hits. Sadly we lost the raven but we carried on with the next battery, once this was into 50 percent armor we had word of a falcon en route from our hauler pilot, time to use the ECCM im paranoid about using, i had just sent my warrior IIs to engage as i was the only one with the range who wasnt jammed, so i thought, when all of the sudden the falcon exploded like a fire cracker when a large white ray of light hit it, and then Postie started laughing in his own evil way..... she never knew what hit her

After much laughing and "pwnt" shouting, with no smack in local, we decided to hit the battery, this time focussing fire as time was running low for our rokh pilot who was also our shield logistics, now at the time the tower was at around 5% armor, our beloved CEO Kill14u requested for backup as a war target megathron flanked by a raven undocked and was proceding to pound into her Raven's Shields, i gave the order to align and to finish off the POS, quickly warping the fleet to Kill's location thereafter, "Megethron is Primary, Raven is Secondary" i blared down my mic as the adrenaline rush took over, i quickly locked down the Megathron and proceded to add my dual 650mm Repeater IIs i had just fitted the night before to the fray, needless to say with Barrage L and the rest of the gang unloading, it exploded in short order, with many GF in local, and a thanking for them to actually have the balls to fight, which is a rare occurence but respect to them nonetheless. Nice loot nonetheless, despite a bad fitting, from which came many curses from Boomer, who is an avid megathron pilot.

All of a sudden a Flagged player undocks and we proceed to annihilate it, however it turned out to be a newb who was looking for things and had taken from one of the cap booster cans, he only lost and impairor, and after telling him that hed get a new one when he docked and explaining what happened, we sent him on his was with our blessing.

Habigor had some fun sniping some War targets who were trying to rep the warp disruption batteries, however no kills as a random ECM module kept damming him.

A rather successfull night in my opinion, the Raven was fully insured and no financial loss was inflicted, as opposed to the 300mill loss to our targets.


There will be more to come, and the positive feedback from my first FC job means that i will be leading more fleets in the future.

First and likely last blood

Well we scored the first kill, and what looks like the last, After much consideration, it isnt really worth paying out fees for an alliance to deck another alliance who will just sit in station all day...... they do have a juicy POS to pop though ^^

Jaguar , seems to be a dying beed, unfortunately i logged before this kill, then they emorage undocked in BS and then docked upas they were having their backsides spanked, oh well.

Dont ask why an abaddon shot it, just got excited haha.

Also some complete randomer, was smacking to his hearts content in local, what he had to do with our targets no one knows and no one really gives a damn, although his "dec me, dec me, dec me, my deck slots are full" quote made me chuckle.


More to come after we re line our wallets, having brought a new shiny maelstrom and Phoon to suppliment my others has drained me a tad short. Till the next time o/

Station Hopskoch

Not much is going on in New Eden, aside from war targets passing out in the station bars because theyre too scared to undock...while their friends who dropped out of the alliance and surrendered 5 minutes after the war vote was issued think its funny to bump and try and get us concorded by the autolock back function.... oh well they'll have their commuffins soon....

So for now its more station games and the like, will update when something worth updating and writing about is nigh.

Introduction

Hello all, my name is Sarge in RL, it has something to do with my name but thats a secret =P
This blog is to do with my nefarious deeds in EvE-Online, under the alias of a Mr Petrov Kreigt, and Im British/Belgian not Russian, i usually get a lot of smack because of my name sounding remotely russian even though it should translate to "Peter War" in German if you take the t off Kreig and makeit Krieg, anyways My corp and i are enjoying a new war dec, and soon to be 2 more, so ill keep you guys posted with some stories from the front.

More about me:
Ive had many ups and downs in eve, ive carebeared to the point that i have a faction fitted CNR, and i can fly mining barges, the latter of which i regret training, on the PVP front, i love flying minmatar, or amarrian ships with autocannons, because they sound awesome, and look awesome on a ships. However im soon to be training gallente, as im Caldari born and have some skills in hybrid turrets

My favorite ship has to be the Hurricane, its fast, can be shield or armor tanked, and deals out an absolute tonne of DPS, and looks damn good as well, Coming join second is the Typhoon, it looks like a dustbin from hell, and its so damn versatile that i have around 20 fits on EFT for it, and its joint partner is the Hyperion, ainly due to the fact that its frikking huge and looks awesome, despite a Mr Snakeboy987 referring it to a dual ended sexual impliment made from plastic....
It also is one of the few ships in eve that is justifiable to be active tanked, which moves me on to my next point.

Im absolutely paranoid about active tanks, any ship that i fly solo, bar t1 cruisers, is active tanked, aside from Crimson Rose my gang Hurricane which is shield buffered, i like active tanks when i fly solo, as i pick my fights and tend to make the fight as short as possible, and also pick targets with little or no backup, and because im a more tank than gank sort of person. I enjoy it when im chipping away at a target and they cant dent my tank.

Coming in 3rd is the Incursus family tree, I love this little frigate, its fast, cute of sorts and is a sturdy little ship in solo combat, i still have my first 1 from my first treck into low sec and my first pvp kill. I loved it so much that i trained frigate V and got the Ishkur and Enyo, my Ishkur is a dedicated frigate and cruiser killer, based off Turreles solo fitting from battleclinic but with my little spin on it.
My enyo is a classic blaster enyo, and i love this little ship, its a bugger to kill and can kill many things i still have my first Ishkur and Enyo, called Titch and Pinkie, and many people have felt the prod of their spears.

As this was goes on, and new ones are made, ill make more posts based on the action, but where i am now its getting late, so im going to get some milk ( cant get enough calcium, <3 Mr T), and hit the Scratcher, more fun tommorow in New Eden,
